My Students
My classroom has become an online at home learning environment due to the Coronavirus pandemic for the remainder of the school year. Students are completing work online at home with family support.
This change has required a lot of creativity and adapting to engage my young learners at home.
My Project
I will use these new books in online read alouds with my students to engage them from home. We share stories daily with students in daily videos and also live sharing during class meetings online. Having new books to share with students will keep them excited and engaged in this difficult and challenging time of learning at home. The books I have requested include easier to read books to model and practice reading strategies as well as favorite classroom characters along with a few new titles from favorite authors to keep kids excited about books no matter where they are.
