Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As our students move to the junior high school from the elementary school, they typically lose their built-in weekly visits to the library.
The junior high library works hard to build library events and presentations to engage students.
The library needs to help to continue to offer engaging books, activities, and presentations. We need new books for our students. We also need puzzles and activities students can use in the library during lunch. To encourage students to participate in reading challenges it helps to have some prizes to offer students. The library needs some new cleaning and book repair supplies. We also need to replace outdated DVR players. Please help us keep our library current and our students motivated to visit and use the library.
