My Students

I am one lucky teacher to work with a classroom of preschool students on the autism spectrum. I have been given the challenge and wonderful opportunity to teach my students how to communicate effectively, play cooperatively together, and how to express their emotions appropriately with replacement behaviors.

My students learn through music, dramatic play, fine motor, gross motor, sensory integration, and hands-on activities.

They love our classroom pets, art, blocks, games, puzzles, housekeeping, table time, science, circle time, and physical activities. I want to give my students every opportunity possible to meet their individualized needs to communicate, socialize, and behave appropriately in a safe, fun, loving environment.

My Project

Having these cleaning supplies available in the classroom will help keep our environment clean and free from germs. We would like to keep our students in school and avoid them becoming sick and unable to participate in the classroom environment with their peers.

Cleaning the floors, washing the tables down, and having the necessary sanitizing wipes will help avoid classroom sicknesses.

We want to keep our students learning in the classroom.

It is essential to keep the classroom environment clean and sanitized during flu and COVID times. We do not want to have students’ learning affected by these infections. We want to do everything we can to avoid these infections in our classroom. Please help by donating to this project and know you will be keeping our students healthy.
