My Students

I teach second grade in a suburban elementary school. Our school is made up of about 500 students kindergarten through third grade. We have a large military population, so many students come and go throughout the school year. Our students and teachers work hard each and every day.

I teach about 50 students each day.

My students are incredibly motivated to learn, and I want to make sure that I provide them every possible opportunity to have a great classroom environment!

My Project

We can never have enough pencils and erasers. We use the pencils for math and social living in my room. We start our day doing our daily word problems. They use the pencils for this. After our word problem we move into our lesson for the day. They will use the pencils to work out all of the math problems.

The erasers are to erase any errors the students may make.

Erasers will also help students to understand a very important life lesson. It is okay to make mistakes and fix them. We can never have enough erasers in our class.
