Our school is tucked away in the country, away from the distractions of the the big city. This is both a blessing and a curse. It is quiet, serene, and a great place to live and learn. However, it also means that at times, we lack the experience that some of the city folk may take for granted.
I teach 22 curious, knowledge-hungry 5th graders in a rural school in North Carolina.
When I say they are hungry for new learning, I do not exaggerate. My students love to ask questions, but even more so, they love to find the answers to questions.
Learning is hard work. Research shows that keeping a body hydrated is important for brain function. I encourage my students to stay hydrated throughout the day. Many bring a bottle of water to class. However, we have laptops on our desks. Students have to store their bottles under their desk, risking a spill.
Technology and water do not mix!
Help me provide my students with a way to keep their water nearby without risking any damage to their laptops or a spill. These handy water bottle holders strap right on to a student chair leg. This will keep their bottles within reach with no interruptions to learning.
