My students are inquiring, caring, risk takers at a small, public K-8 IB school in downtown Indianapolis. They vary in age, personality and interests but they all bring something special to our school and classroom community.
My students love personalized, engaging curriculum in a comfortable atmosphere!
We have fun in Spanish class each day while immersing ourselves in comprehensible Spanish.
I enjoy the reward of building lasting relationships and being a part of their entire journey from K to 8!
My Project
We read every day in Spanish class for 5 to 15 minutes. Students have free choice of which book, story or magazine they would like to read. There is no accountability, just reading for pleasure. Since this is by choice it is automatically differentiated by level and by interest.
These books will give my students some more options to choose from to fit their level and interests.
I know they will be especially interested in La piñata de Renata because we have two other books from the same author that are always being read by the students! Some books are from a series that a few students have been requesting because they have made it to that point in the series and they want to continue!
