Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Kindergarten is full of learning new things. Not only do we teach academics, we teach how to keep ourselves healthy including how germs affect us. You would be surprised how many little friends have never blown their own noses. I teach my students about boogers, where they come from and why we should not pick and eat them. We even use our tissue to do a cute booger dance song that teaches them to put the boogie in the tissue and put tissue in the trash.

I am requesting soft Kleenex tissue for their little noses.

It is very important to me to have the right supplies to keep my classroom clean. There are so many accidents in our Kindergarten bathroom that need Clorox wipes and Lysol disinfectant to keep it sanitized for each of my students safety. Daily I am cleaning up little accidents on the toilet seat and floor.

Lastly, Ticonderoga Tri Write pencils are the best pencils to use in Kindergarten. They are bigger and are easier for little hands to hold onto. They help my students with their small motor skills, make it easier for their hands to grasp and to be successful writers. Many of my students struggle at the beginning of the year and I have had great success with them. They are amazing. Thank you for helping me provide a clean and healthy learning environment for my amazing students.
