This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Having an organized and routine classroom helps students perform successfully. I've asked for some items that I find to be essential to a classroom environment. Anchor chart papers allow me to create visual aids during a lesson for more effective teaching. The clipboards are a great tool for students to have so they can work independently or with others outside their desk area. I've also added different organizing tools. Keeping materials in specific and tidy areas helps the lesson flow and allows students to develop a working routine throughout the year. I've also asked for a sharpener because our classroom one has recently broken and their handheld sharpness is not as effective. I believe these select items are some classroom essentials that would benefit the classroom greatly!
