My students always get excited when boxes arrive and we get new goodies to use in our classroom. These supplies have been a tremendous help with our math lessons and they truly have enjoyed using them all. \r\n\r\nWe have used everything from the graph paper to the colored pencils, to the colored paper and sentences strips and even the stickers almost every day since we've received these awesome gifts. For our math lessons lately they've been doing lots is multiplication and division practice so the graph paper has been a huge help in keeping their work organized. It has also helped with teaching them area and how to count the little squares. They've been having a blast with that unit! The colored pencils have also been a huge help in labeling their work, we use different colors for different topics depending on the lesson and they've enjoyed having these. We all also loved the math bingo, it was a huge hit!! It was such a fun day to learn and play with them and we used the stickers as prizes, which they also really enjoy. I appreciate being able to give them a little something for their hard-work. \r\n\r\nWith these supplies my students are definitely set up for success moving into quarter 3. We will continue to use the graph paper, colored paper, and colored pencils to organize our work. We also will begin using those sentence strips for fractions, which should be a lot of fun. \r\n\r\nI truly appreciate your support and my kiddos can't thank your enough.","fullyFundedDate":1757538872220,"projectUrl":"project/3rd-grade-math-stars/9461601/","projectTitle":"3rd Grade Math Stars","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Madril","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/msmadril"},{"teacherId":3291495,"projectId":9350276,"letterContent":"Our students reacted with big smiles and eager chatter as they held their very own ukuleles. Many began to strum the strings right away, experimenting with sounds, and others examined their new instrument. The moment was special and empowering, as students realized they were being trusted with a real instrument and the opportunity to create music. \r\n\r\nThe introduction of ukuleles in our classrooms has had a powerful impact. Playing the ukulele, supports their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and listening abilities while making music fun. It has encouraged creativity and self-expression, and gives our students a sense of accomplishment, and fosters teamwork when playing together.\r\n\r\nOur next steps are practicing with our students, building their skills and confidence. We are preparing our students for future performances, inviting their families, staff, and students to listen to all the amazing sounds and music these students have rehearsed.","fullyFundedDate":1751638878988,"projectUrl":"project/the-uke-stars/9350276/","projectTitle":"The Uke Stars","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Flanigan","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3291495_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y679&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1747078337438","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3291495"},{"teacherId":8372548,"projectId":9454091,"letterContent":"I am truly in awe of the support, so thank you. My classroom definitely felt prepared and ready with the materials that were donated. The students were amazed at how much our classroom had in it right away and they were excited to begin using everything. \r\n\r\nThroughout the last few weeks we have really hit the ground running on curriculum and getting our students to exceed in all subject areas. The materials like the stickers, headphones, privacy folders, and even all of the organizers have helped us do just that. \r\n\r\nStudents have been excited to earn a sticker for good behaviors or class games or to use the organizers to keep their group materials in order. We am also enjoying the privacy folders and headphones for testing, especially my EL students who need the supports for reading. Our calming corner has also been used by almost all students and they are loving the bean bag chair. \r\n\r\nI appreciate the kindness to want to help me and my students be the best we can be this year.","fullyFundedDate":1752429372752,"projectUrl":"project/exceptional-3rd/9454091/","projectTitle":"Exceptional 3rd","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Madril","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/msmadril"},{"teacherId":5464450,"projectId":8955701,"letterContent":"Thank you for your incredible generosity! With your support, my students received privacy folders and headphones with microphones to prepare for the upcoming AASA assessments. These tools have made a significant difference in creating a focused and supportive learning environment for my class.\r\n\r\nThe privacy folders help students stay on task by minimizing distractions and promoting a sense of independence while working on practice assessments and other assignments. The headphones with microphones are a game-changer for our technology-based learning. They allow my students to engage fully with interactive lessons and practice tests that include audio and verbal response components. This has been especially helpful for students who are English language learners, as they can hear instructions and improve their speaking skills through recorded responses.\r\n\r\nMy students are thrilled to use the new technology, and seeing their excitement and confidence grow has been heartwarming. One student, who usually struggles to focus in a noisy environment, shared how much easier it is to stay on track with the privacy folders and headphones. Another student, who is practicing their speaking skills for the AZELLA, has been eagerly using the microphone feature to improve their pronunciation and fluency.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping us take a big step forward in preparing for AASA and creating an environment where every student feels equipped to succeed. I've integrated these snacks into our daily routine, using snack time as a moment to relax and recharge, fostering a sense of community and well-being in our classroom. \r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the boxes arrive in the classroom, they kept asking what was inside.
