There is still not quite enough space for our growing collection of instruments- many of them are tucked away in cabinets where students can't always access them.
It's my vision that the music room is a space where students can get what they need, when they need it- no matter the project we're doing.
Having more open and sturdy storage will also make instruments more accessible for my learners. For example, students who need extra support with fine motor skills to grab small instrument parts/accessories can more easily grab mallets and small drums without worrying about the materials rolling away. For students with varying levels of mobility, or who benefit from examining all of the choices available, knowing exactly where instruments are and what is available helps to make trips to the instrument area more efficient and predictable.
Can you help us to acquire some new storage for larger instruments and sliding baskets to better utilize our existing storage options?
