Keepin' Clean After Clay

Help me give my students clay to make their own accessories, and sponges and towels to clean up after themselves.

My Project

We tried some work with clay in our studio, and it was a huge hit! The students loved the idea of making their own jewelry and keychains, but we were missing some of the tools we need to create.

These clay roller machines and clay will give students the refined tools they need to make jewelry of their own design.

Sponges and towels will give students the tools to clean up and keep our wooden tables as good as new!

In my studio, we do more unconventional art than most high school art rooms. We do macrame and tie-dye, make jewelry and do embroidery, sew pillows and quill paper in addition to the traditional drawing, painting and collage you might see in other studios. I want my students to feel valued, and creating curriculum based on their interest is key to that positive student-teacher relationship.
