Help me give my students hats and scarves to stay warm while we play outside this winter!
This project expired on February 25, 2019.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
I teach in a Title I school, where all of my students receive free breakfast and lunch. We are a multiculturally diverse school with greatly varied family dynamics. Our school has over 1,000 students in grades pre-kindergarten through eighth.
Most of my students are low income, so the experiences I am able to provide for them are truly valuable.
My classroom uses a HIghScope Curriculum, with authentic, student-led learning activities. Children learn during large and small group activities, outdoor time, and work time, where they can select the activities they do.
My students go outside every day, twice a day, even in the middle of winter! Many of my students do not come to school with warm hats and scarves. These hats and scarves look cozy and my students will love wearing them!
My students love to go outside, especially in the snow, and they will love it even more if they can stay warm in these hats and scarves!
By donating to this project, you will help keep my students warm and healthy all winter. They will stay warm and feel great wearing such nice hats and scarves. We are requesting a couple extra to keep in the classroom, just in case someone forgets, or new students arrive.
