My Students

My students come from rural Eastern Kentucky, most of which are from a low social-economic status. We have a high majority of our students with free or reduced lunch. We are a small school that tries to give not only a great classroom education but also opportunities to play sports outside the classroom.

We want all our students to know that they are special and they are loved by all.

Our local area suffers as do many from the drug crisis. By having after school sports for our students, we offer a way to keep kids out of trouble. Our teachers and coaches work around the clock to better our students.

My Project

My students and players come from a rural area of Eastern Kentucky where the income rate is low and the drug and crime rate is high. Our school just started our baseball program. The school has agreed to buy us uniform tops but want the players to purchase their own pants.

Many of my players can not afford to buy their own pants and will not be able to match the players that can afford them.

This will make our players not look the same and will identify the ones that could not afford them. This will cause an affect on the players and the team. I ask you to help us look uniform in these new pants. Thank you for your time.
