My students need good coats and hats. These are good coats that will keep them warm on our 75 acre campus.

My Students

My students are energetic and want to succeed. We have a seventy-five acre campus and eleven buildings. It is hard to be successful when you are cold. My students dress the best they can, but it is not unusual to see them with a blanket in 20 degree weather.

It is hard to be energetic when your hair is frozen because you do not have a hat to cover it after gym.

Warm weather gear would change their world.

My Project

Our school has 75 acres and 11 buildings that require students to walk outside in the winter. Indiana has cold winters, and many of my students are using blankets and towels because they can not afford winter clothing. Standing on a bus stop in 10 degree weather without appropriate winter gear can be dangerous.

It is hard to be energetic and ready for learning when your hair is frozen after gym class.

Having coats and hats would allow students to concentrate better in class. My students want to be successful and not being as cold in the winter would help.
