Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Last year an awesome donor funded hydroponic gardens for our classroom Science Lab. My students LOVE watching our plants grow, learning about parts of a plant, and eating different types of herbs and lettuce. Our supplies are dwindling, and in honor of Earth Day, we were hoping to restock. Our hydroponic garden systems are a great hands-on learning experience, especially for Title I students.
We are in need of soil pods, seeds, and growing solutions for our hydroponic gardens.
Exposing students to the natural world is a valuable life experience. These materials will enable them to continue engaging with our hydroponic gardens. "Life's a garden, dig it" Thank you!
