On behalf of the students, families, and staff at Tuttle Elementary School, we are grateful for your investment in our school community.\r\n\r\nAs a Title I school, we serve families from a variety of cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Your donation has helped break down communication barriers and has provided families with greater access to important information regarding their children's education. The translation equipment is used during school advisory meetings, family engagement events, academic meetings, IEP meetings, and school presentations. Parents are able to receive information in a language they\r\nunderstand, which allows them to ask questions, share input, and actively participate in decisions that support their children.\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, families are now better informed about school programs, student progress, upcoming events, and resources available to help their children succeed. This has strengthened the partnership between home and school and increased family engagement throughout our campus.\r\n\r\nParent Voice\r\n\"For the first time, I felt like I truly understood everything that was being discussed about my child at school. Being able to hear the information in my language helped me feel included and confident. Now I can participate in meetings and support my child's learning at home.\"\r\n\r\nImpact Highlights\r\n• Increased parent participation in school meetings and conferences.\r\n• Improved understanding of academic progress and school expectations.\r\n• Greater family engagement in school activities and events.\r\n• Stronger communication between families and educators.\r\n• Expanded access and inclusion for multilingual families.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has done far more than provide equipment. Many of my students are often hesitant to read due to learning English as a second language or just not having had much experience with reading for fun. With your kindness, I was able to add tons of new graphic novels in both English and Spanish. I have found that kids are less intimidated by graphic novels than a full chapter book. Kids are seeing these books and looking at them as \"fun reading\" which is a new experience for many of them. \r\nI have had kids that have never read a book for fun or by choice come in to my room to get a book that their friend read because it \"looked cool\". Now these kids have caught the bug and are coming back more frequently for more books. I love listening to them talk about the book after they've finished it. I have also read many of the books myself so that we can talk about to books together and share thoughts and opinions on the books. \r\nI have students who have always enjoyed reading just absolutely power through these books and they simply can't get enough! I have other students who are discovering the escape that they can find with reading when times get hard. I often will bring books to kids that I know are experiencing something hard at home so that then can escape in a book when they're at home.\r\nWatching my students fall in love with reading in the music room has truly been an emotional experience for me.
