My Project

I am requesting a pager response system for my classroom. When I meet with a small group in my classroom there are often more students working at their seats than at my table. This allows me to focus on the level that each small group is at. My students who are at their seats will often have questions that they need answered.

Having the pager system will allow me to give my focus to the small group I am meeting with.

I will be able to address the needs of the rest of my students at a time that works best for small group. The pagers will be new to the classroom, as many times their work time is lost when waiting in line for one question to be answered. With a pager, they can continue to work on answering the questions they do know how to do, until paged, and then they can come back for 1:1 time with the teacher without interruptions. Not only will this system bring order and structure to my classroom, but I also truly think my students are going to love it!
