Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year there are so many students who are living in the shelter system at my school. Basic necessities like warm outerwear accessory sets are something that can escape their minds since there are so many other pressing needs. These scarf sets will be handed out to my students during the holiday time so that they can be warm, but most importantly so that they know they are loved and cared for.

Sometimes the simplest of gifts can make all the difference to students who are feeling unwanted and unappreciated, especially during the colder months.

It is so sad and despondent to see students who do not have these items during the cold day out. Please help to ensure that my students each have a set to keep them warm this winter.
