Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Looking to change our current classroom environment to create a focus on my students Social-emotional learning (grades 2-5 with mild to moderate disabilities).

My students have demonstrated a need for their social emotional learning to be fostered through a calming environment especially because of the recent increase in exhibited behaviors.

According to the CFC (Committee for Children) people with strong social-emotional skills are better able to cope with everyday challenges and benefit academically, professionally, and socially.

These specific items can assist with creating an environment not only conducive to meeting students SEL needs but will also boost students academic needs as well.
