My students are all wanting to be able to be active during their free time which is after lunch and study hall time. Students need a way to burn energy, yet socialize while being active in different ways. This could be through jump roping, tossing a ball back and forth, or playing a game of bean bag toss.
My Project
Winters in Ohio can be bitterly cold. Students still need to be able to move and get active even when it is cold. During their recess time, they often go to the gym and run around and shoot a few basketballs these items will give all students the opportunity to have a fun recess and give them lots of options to use. Lots of the games are for teams so this will allow them to play a collaborative game with their peers. Students also don't have water fountains this year so after all, running around and moving they often are thirsty and have nothing to use to drink. The water bottles will be great for them to use for the rest of the year. The best is they can leave them at school as we have sinks in my classroom they can wash them.
