I didn't get a chance to use the materials for the car building as we ran out of time at the end of the year, but I can't wait to use them this year. The snacks are always a big hi,t and the lights added to the dance floor party vibes. The bouncy bands and the wobble feet have been such a big help for the students who need to move during class. The bands are awesome on the chairs in my room and the wobble feet on the chair lets students wiggle without other students even noticing. The containers have come in handy with the storage of our LEGOs in our STEM zone. It makes it so easy for the students to be able to grab what they need and get to work on their projects. The Calm Strips were such a big hit with my students. Most of them put them on their computers or their folders a place they can always use them. In this project, I was able to make up three different containers of the supplies that we received. I gave a container to our school counselor, the school social worker, and a local counseling center. The student council members worked together to organize, split the materials, and package some of the materials in new containers so that they were easily accessible for these students and staff members. This taught the students to give back to their community and they truly enjoyed creating the totes. They all had great ideas on how to organize them so that items were viewable in the totes. My Circut broke so trying to find someone to make the designs became a new struggle. We finally found someone and with the help of the school we were able to buy screen prints to put on the sweatshirts and now students will have a brand new clothing item for Christmas.
