My students need a way to keep their materials organized in our classroom. As an AVID Elementary site, we teach our students about the importance of organization.
This project expired on August 12, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
We are a group of 26 amazing students and one lucky teacher. Our school is located in a small town 35 miles west of Minneapolis. Our rural location brings students from diverse experiences into one classroom.
My amazing students spend most of the school day within our classroom, learning together in the areas of reading, writing, math, and science.
With a focus on innovation, my students are learning daily to think outside of the box as I challenge traditional ways of learning.
We need to organize our materials in a way that will last for years to come. Book bins will allow my students to have a durable space for their binders and personal supplies. As an AVID elementary site, organization is a priority for staff and students.
Our new reading curriculum needs bins to organize our leveled readers and our Maker Morning materials are overflowing, begging for a place to be stored in an orderly fashion.
The bins and storage carts will make it easier for students to find supplies and know where to return them when they are done working.
