Students are asked to sit in one place for many hours throughout their day. This year, I have responded to student needs by offering a flexible seating arrangement. Students are allowed to choose their seat each day and become an active part of determining what they need to learn best. The one thing that is missing from our seating choices is MOVEMENT. With a classroom of active learners, I want to set my students up for success by offering them opportunities to get out their wiggles and keep their minds focused on our most important task: learning. The flexible seating choices allow kids to feel comfortable in their learning environment.

About my class
