Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love Magna-Tiles to build structures. These tiles may create a community of future architects or engineers. It fosters collaboration. Students who are shy, have language issues, or on the autism spectrum can play and have fun. It encourages them to talk and work together to build bridges, castles, buildings, houses, and structures.

Magna-Tiles provide critical thinking and problem solving.

It allows students to visualize three dimensional creations. They can be used for STEM projects and activities.

All my students can use these tiles but it will benefit children that need hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. It will also appeal to girls so they too are empowered to think Big for future career choices. Tiles are sturdy toys that will last for future classes.
