This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My middle school students are awesome! They are fun, creative, and we have great conversations. They love to get me off-topic. Music helps me relax and focus when I am working on a project or lesson planning, and for a lot of my students, music also helps them as they tackle the rigorous problems we complete in math every day. While they are working independently, they can listen to music, or watch videos to help them solve the problems they are working on. A classroom set of headphones, would allow more students to be able to concentrate and complete their work. To go with the headphones, is a storage solution as I do not have a lot of cabinet space in my classroom. We also love to complete our math problems on our desks, but markers dry out fast. The markers and wet wipes will allow my students to show their work and solve difficult problems.
