My Project

Small People, Big Emotions

Without the tools to self-regulate, a child can’t focus on phonics or math.

We want to change that.

Our goal is to equip every Kindergarten and First Grade classroom with a dedicated "Regulation Station"—a physical space where students can go to safely navigate their emotions and return to their desks ready to succeed.

The Tools: How Your Donation Helps

Each item in this project serves a specific psychological purpose in a child's sensory and emotional development:

The Physical Anchor: Soft Floor Cushions and huggable Teddy Bears provide the physical comfort and "soft landing" a child needs when they feel vulnerable.

Sensory Regulation: For children overwhelmed by noise, our Noise Cancelling Headphones offer instant quiet. To soothe the visual senses, Liquid Motion Bubblers and 5-Minute Sand Timers provide mesmerizing focal points that lower the heart rate.

The Language of Feelings: Many children act out because they don't have the words for their internal state. Our Feelings Posters, Mood Flip Books, and Mindfulness Books bridge that gap, teaching them to identify "red" vs. "green" choices.

Active Coping: Breathing Cards teach rhythmic self-soothing, while Beach Stress Balls provide a tactile outlet for physical tension.

Creative Processing: Sometimes, emotions are best expressed through art. Each student will receive a Personal Journal and Crayola Crayons to draw out what they are feeling when words aren't enough.

The Impact: Building Lifelong Resilience

By funding this project, you aren't just buying classroom supplies; you are investing in mental health literacy. When a child learns at age six that they can use a breathing card or a quiet minute with a sand timer to calm their own heart, they carry that resilience with them forever.
