Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year I have a very large class as we don't have enough teachers. That means more supplies are used and more supplies are needed. This is especially true with tools that need to be shared, like glue guns. We use glue guns for several projects, including creating dioramas to go with our units of study and creating STEM projects. Hot glue works the best for long lasting student projects. Snacks go twice as fast when your class is twice as big too!
We use a lot of tape throughout the year for attaching prompts into journals or helping with any creative project students may be working on.
Big tape is also for students to attach name tags on tables and bins as well as holding projects up on walls and boards.
Students also always need some motivation, from snacks to trinkets and prizes, they help my students focus and grow. These basic supplies will last a while and be greatly appreciated.
