Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are learning how to take care of their bodies and their teeth.

The students will learn how to take care of their teeth in order to have a beautiful smile and a healthy mouth.

They will have a dentist office set up in the dramatic play center. I am requesting a dentist pretend medical kit so my students will be able to pretend while learning about their teeth. I will do a lesson with the Dragon plush dental toy on how to take care of their teeth and let each of them get hands on with the Dragon. Each student will receive their own toothbrush, toothpaste, toothbrush holder, and a timer so they can learn how to take care of their teeth and then take it home to continue practicing good oral hygiene.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
