My Project

Over the past two years, students have faced new challenges from proximity to others to virtual learning. In my classroom we have taken the learning means we were forced into at the start of quarantine and turned them into something beautiful. It's incredible how resilient we all are and continue to be. I am beyond grateful to have gone through this with amazing students and staff members. One of the changes includes the amount of technology used. In three short years it has grown exponentially! We are completing workbook pages and assessments now via various online learning platforms. I would like to extend this online activity to typing practice. Whether it be simple skill practice or publishing a final writing project, students benefit from typing on a keyboard versus on an iPad screen. The use of keyboards with protective cases will allow students to gain an important life skill (typing) while learning and researching in an efficient way.
