My first grade students are eager to learn and full of life. They live in a small town, where everybody knows you and is always willing to lend a helping hand. It is the kind of community and school that inspires you to teach.
We are in a school that contains Pre-K thru 8th grade.
My first graders love their school and it shows every day. We would love to continue our learning and be the best that we can be, with your help.
My Project
This small table and floor chairs might not seem like they would make a difference but to a first grader they mean everything. Often children's sizes vary so much in first grade. One might be as tall as a 4th grader and another might me as small as a Pre-School student.
Everyone is equal when sitting at this small table that is just my size for a first grader.
There will be no dangling feet and no knees touching with this awesome table and chairs. Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand and collaborate with their classmates. The impact this table would make in my classroom would me unmeasurable. Who would not love to work at this table?
