Help me give my students the opportunity to see the movie Just Mercy during Black History Month.

My students are amazing! They are hardworking, dedicated students who are eager to learn. They come from diverse social and economic backgrounds. In my classroom, we embrace diversity and I do my best to create a open-minded environment.I have tried my best to create a classroom environment that supports creativity and trust between one another.
It is my goal to expose my students to as much as possible because there are so many opportunity outside of our rural area.
Looking at my students, you would never know that they were missing anything. They have the hearts of champions and strive to do their best to reach every goal I set for them. They need to be exposed to more diversity and college opportunities. By providing more opportunities for my students, they become more well-rounded students and eventually citizens.
This trip will give insight to our students on the inequalities of the past. Many times our students view the Civil Rights Movement as something only in the past as we still are fighting many injustices. It is imperative that we teach our students to be aware of injustices of the past and to be sensitive to all cultures. We intend to kick off Black History Month by going to see this movie, going to a Black History museum, and possibly attending an HBCU in the same day. This movie will create educated discussions on leadership and fighting for what is right. By showing this movie during Black History Month, it will touch on issues of segregation and unfair law practices that we discuss throughout the school year.
