Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me to provide my incredible students with a cozy classroom environment. My students love to work in various areas of the classroom, and the couch would provide them with a comfortable area where they can do so. They will use the couch to collaborate with their classmates on projects and group activities. We also do independent reading every day, and the students can go on the couch, grab a pillow and their book, and become engulfed in what they are reading. They will also use the couch if they need an area to calm down. The pillows will provide the students with affirming statements. We love to do group work and the rug will provide them with a comfy place to lie down on! My students spend the majority of their day in the classroom, and my goal is to make it feel as close to home as possible!
