Your support means so much to us!\r\n\r\nWe now have a wonderful variety of books, including many that celebrate holidays and special times of the year. These books help our students learn new words, practice listening, and begin to understand stories by talking about characters and what is happening.\r\n\r\nReading time is one of our favorite parts of the day. After lunch, we come together and enjoy our books as a class. The students love listening to the stories, looking at the pictures, and sharing their ideas.\r\n\r\nIn our dual language classroom, I read books in English and we talk about them in Spanish, and vice versa, helping students build understanding and confidence in both languages.\r\n\r\nIt has been so special to see how excited the students are. Some of my quieter students are beginning to join in, and many students love sharing their favorite parts of the story.
