Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Covid-19 has proven to be difficult for so many students. Being out of school for so long, coming in every other day, wearing masks to coming back full time with no masks. Our students have had such a shift in normal routine and are struggling with attendance, anxiety, and stress.

My students often need to leave class to calm down or they refuse to come to school at all.

I would love to offer them little take away tools to help calm them down and hopefully keep them in class. Items like worry stones, a liquid motion bubbler, sensory stickers, stress balls, and pop-its will help students to deal with their stress and anxiety.
