My Project

Come on in and find your calm . The behavior classroom is a bustling space with many students who are in need of a calm environment to regulate their emotions or have become overwhelmed or overstimulated in the classroom.

The goal is to give them a place to reset and find their calm so they can return to class ready to learn and give their best efforts.

The crash pad will provide a place for those who need to jump or like to bounce around. Many try to do this on the hard floor or a small cushion and could get hurt.

The lights and bubble tube will give an ocean like experience along with low lights to help the student feel calm . As our school will double in size next school year I anticipate that the these items will be highly utilized on a daily basis . Some of the kids will be in a brand new school and may be anxious and stressed and they will have a calm corner to find some comfort before returning to class ready to put in A+ effort .
