My Students

I teach K-4 special education. My students are very special to me. They are each one on a different learning level, with different goals to master. My students learn in different ways. Some learn by listening; some by doing; some learn slowly and some quickly. It is my task to find what works for each one so that they can become successful, achieving students. I want my students to be proud of their accomplishments; to be eager to learn more every day.

My Project

While providing instructional videos from home, these items will provide visual supports that my students need in order to understand what is being taught.

By having portable items, I will be able to provide my students with structured lessons, just as they would receive if we were face to face.

Not knowing from day to day if our school will be closed because of COVID - 19, it is stressful trying to figure out how to provide rigorous lessons from home. These simple items will help in a big way.
