My Project

All of our students want to learn to read, write and do their math facts. Our class can only do this if their sensory needs are met. We have quite a few in the classroom that would immensely benefit from a trampoline in our class. In class a trampoline will provide the opportunity for the kids to get their wiggles out comfortably, in the classroom . This helps them with the basic idea of meeting sensory needs. As they progress, they will be able to do their independent work and build relationships of sharing to be able to practice socialization.

The trampoline will play a major roll in the classrooms for the students and OT (occupational therapist) first and foremost, it will give all students a chance to regulate themselves in class without having to leave to another area in the school.

They can control themselves better when they learn to self regulate themselves. This will enhance the environment not only in the classroom, but in the building as well.
