Our students are diverse, eager, and wonderful students and citizens of their community. They range from 7- to 8 years-old, various socioeconomic backgrounds, academic levels, cultural backgrounds, personalities, and learning styles. The students seek to share, collaborate, and experience learning in various ways. They like to think in numbers, words, pictures, and come up with strategies, questions, and opinions about what they are learning. The students want to be lifelong learners and be prepared for what their future holds.
My Project
As students have limited access to doing some physical activities with their friends, the jumpropes and mind activities will support healthy social skills and development. Students get their own jumpropes and can use them throughout the day at home, school, anywhere, and get their heart pumping and mind thinking. Students will develop coordination skills, build their physical endurance, and get to still do this with their friends and class. The puzzle and logic activities will allow students to think critically and collaborate with classmates on how to solve the challenges. These materials will support healthy and mindful growth in students.
