Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students from my school are from a low income area. Jump ropes will provide each student with the opportunity to increase their cardiovascular endurance, which strengthens their heart. Moreover, jump roping will help with stamina and agility in sports and fitness.

Each student in my PE class with a jump rope will have awareness of their proprioception and body awareness, learning new jump roping styles.

Students will be able to display these styles with confidence and be able to jump rope on their own at home, outside or in the gym.

I love my students, as they work hard and try their best daily, no matter what equipment we have or don't have, they engage in PE 100 percent.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
