Help me give my students an organized classroom. We have many students who join us throughout the year from around the world, and greeting them with new supplies in organized and labeled spaces helps us all maintain community.

My Project

This will be my second year in this classroom. The room is decorated to reflect the students and the curriculum, but we were limited in where we could put school supplies that they periodically need. The rolling carts allow students to access the art supplies we use periodically, while the electronic cords allow students to keep their devices going throughout the day.

The school supplies requested will help transform the classroom into an organized and welcoming space, where students can see where they (and their work and energy) belong.

A well organized classroom helps to decrease student anxiety about being prepared for class, which in turn helps them engage and learn more deeply.

With access to so much information, and in a large school, my being able to provide a quiet and affirming classroom for my students is a honor. I find joy in learning how they learn, and watching them grow intellectually and socially. Your donation makes it easier for all of us to bring our best to the work we do.
