My Project
In our special education program, we can service students until they are 22 years old. Many students go to occupational high schools to learn job skills once they graduate high school, but we also have students with more multisensory needs who require more individualized services. These students may have complex medical needs or be labeled as having severe intellectual disabilities. Since a vocational post-secondary school may not meet their needs, we are trying to meet their post-secondary needs here.
These task boxes provide hands on activities to practice job skills in a structured and supportive environment.
These task boxes include activities to help students practice: wrapping silverware, fill salt & pepper shakers, organize sugar caddies, fill first aid kits, and fill hospitality kits.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
