Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would like to motivate students in a new online math program called ST Math. What Is ST Math? It's a PreK-8 visual instructional program that leverages the brain's innate spatial-temporal reasoning ability to solve mathematical problems. ST Math’s unique, patented approach provides students with equitable access to learning through challenging puzzles, non-routine problem-solving, and formative feedback. With ST Math, students build deep conceptual understanding, and schools see proven repeatable results.

Students love JiJi and would love to see JiJi in the classroom.

Who is JiJi? JiJi is a penguin on a journey through the world of ST Math. Students help JiJi overcome obstacles by solving math puzzles—and they associate JiJi with the thrill of challenge and success.

Students will have puzzle challenges throughout the year.

Students would love to earn penguin-themed prizes to go along with our ST Math Jiji Penguin! Having a stuffed penguin will help bring math alive in an authentic way from their online ST Math program!
