This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are always asking, why? Why don't we have good equipment? Why do we have to use cones as goals? Having goals will prevent students from arguing over a goal.
I teach physical education in a high poverty inner-city school in Indianapolis.
My school has over 600 students, prek-6, who enjoy physical education. Because of our large school size some of the physical education classes are double the size which requires more equipment. I see every class twice a week for thirty minutes.
My Project
These six portable goals can be used to play goal-ball, soccer, and many other activities that encourage all students to be active for the whole class. All students enjoy playing goal games and having six goals will allow the games to keep moving. The use of these goals will allow the double classes to be split up and everyone can still perform the same activity.
This donations will help over 600 students in my school.
With your support we can have our students improve their soccer skills. Students will be able to increase their shooting accuracy on the portable goals. Having goals will clearly clairify if someone has scored a goal which will keep the game flowing smoothly.
