This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Birthdays are always a big deal and a special day for students to be celebrated. I teach at a school where the majority of my students come from a low socioeconomic status so they appreciate anything they get. They are always so thankful. I would like to surprise them with a special birthday goodie bag with pencils, birthday crown, and small trinkets and games. Students are always so excited to be able to celebrate their birthday with their classmates, it is something they look forward to.

Our class becomes a family and students always want to be able to celebrate together.

Spending so much time together each year our class starts to feel like a family. We love being able to celebrate together and what better thing to celebrate than birthdays.
