This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

2nd grade is a big year. My students are learning so many new things! Things like how to read independently, regroup, tie their own shoes, write a paragraph, count money and tell time!

Telling time is an extremely important life skill.

I am requesting analog watches for my students. Each child will have their own watch, and will be taught using a very hands-on approach. My students are constantly asking me "What time is it?" "When is it lunch?" "How much longer until recess?" and more! Now, they will be in control of their learning, and not depend on me for the answers.
