My students need Time For Kids magazines to be engaged, empowered, and inspired to respond, act, and grow as global citizens.

In our Title I School, many children come from low income, poverty stricken homes and each child qualifies for free breakfast and lunch. Many live in low-income housing, hotels, and some are even in shelters. For many in my class, English is their second language and some have special needs. With that being said, they all love to come to school and want to learn. They deserve all the resources we can give them.
These kiddos come in the door ready to learn and have fun.
They will laugh, cry, hug, giggle, play, and learn all in one place: their classroom. Therefore, I am eager and ready to help each of them achieve their dreams.
It's About TIME for Kids to explore the world. TIME for Kids supports our standards-based daily instruction while inspiring students to join the national discourse on current topics.
Through small group instruction, students will be engaged with the world with authentic rigorous texts worth studying.
As an alternative to being glued to a computer, students may pick up a magazine and be inspired to read and enjoy something in hand.
My students will absolutely love sitting with a partner discussing the text or reading independently to enhance their reading skills. This is a good foundation to introduce a love of reading around the world!
