It's the Simple Things

Help me give my students the little things they need to be successful. Contact paper to cover the old, outdated cabinets. Paper to make copies of materials for students. Bouncy bands to help students, get out the fidgets.

My Project

This year, more than ever, schools face financial uncertainty. The struggles with budgets make it difficult for teachers to provide the necessary supplies for students to be successful. My goal is to create a warm and welcoming environment for my students to learn.

These supplies will allow students to create the hands-on learning needed to have a successful year in fourth grade.

Of the 5 third-grade teachers, only 2 were still teaching at the end of the year. Students need consistency, and they did not receive it last year. This year, I want them to feel valued and appreciated. I want them to know they have the materials to learn, and no matter the financial struggles of the school system, they can still have a successful year with materials for their classroom.

The Sproutbrite Educational Math Posters will give students the visual reminders for Geometry, Fractions, and Place Value during tests and assessments. The cases of paper will allow students to have the handouts as resources. Headphones will be used with the Chromebooks, and students can use them while taking online tests and using online resources. All of these materials on my list will be used with the students to further their education with hands-on learning.

Having my DonorsChoose funded would be a great investment in my students and show them they are supported by people from all over, who have faith in the future.
