Our school is the most diverse school in our district. Students are overachievers. They strive to out-do each other academically. We are a Title I school where our students receive both free breakfast and lunch.
Our school is the 2nd oldest continuously run public high school in the United States.
It is the only High School in the United States that can award a Bachelors Degree.

My Project
The CHS Boys Lacrosse Team is always in need of miscellaneous things like lacrosse balls, stringing supplies to repair sticks, stick end caps, and tape. Our school is a Title 1 school with free breakfast and lunch. Due to budget cuts, the lacrosse program receives very little support from our district and our students cannot afford their own equipment.
Last year, we actually ran out of lacrosse balls mid-season forcing me to pay out of my own pocket to get more.
Lacrosse balls, string, end caps, and other small miscellaneous items wear quickly and end up being some of the most costly items for any team. These items are essential to not only play the game but also for safety.
