Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students in my school have a very early breakfast and a very late lunch. Some students have breakfast at 8 AM and then lunch at 1 PM. Through out the day the student tend to get hungry and that distracts them from learning. While teaching, you notice that some of the students are not engaged in the lesson or you hear their stomach grumble. I like to ask myself if a student is hungry how are they going to learn when their mind is focusing on something else. Some of the items will be send home with them as well so they can come to school the next day ready to learn!

The items I am requesting will be able to give the students some fuel to keep them focus to learn!

These items will reach over 40 plus students! Since some of the students are unable to eat solid foods, they will get the pudding snacks! Many of the students favorite things are the cookies, chips, fruit cups, and they love granola bars during breakfast! They especially love a little chocolate treat as a reward when they complete their assignments. The students will also enjoy many different drink options as well. I believe that if a student's belly is full, then their mind will filled knowledge.
