My Students

Most of my students’ families are doing their very best to keep their basic needs met. They go to a designated area, everyday, to pick up free breakfast and lunch for their children that our district distributes. They are listening to our governor's orders and staying at home.

We miss each other very much and are doing our best to stay connected through the internet.

What my student's families can't do is supply their children/my students with the basic materials they need to learning at home.

My Project

As my students, colleagues, and our entire nation is living in a time that will be noted in the future through books, technology, and personal memories, my students need help today with basic school supplies to keep them learning. Most of my students families are doing their very best to keep their basic needs met. What they can't do is supply their children (my students) with the basic materials they need to continue learning at home.

If I could give my students a bag filled with much needed classroom items such as pencils, pencil sharpeners, journal booklets, dry erase boards, dry erase markers, and glue sticks, my students would use them to their fullest.

I know this will mean a great deal to my students because they just want the same opportunity as everyone else...to continue learning.
